Neil Gaiman’s celebrated comic book series finally comes to the screen, with Tom Sturridge (Velvet Buzzsaw) portraying Morpheus, the Lord of Dreams. A series more than a decade in the works, The Sandman certainly has a high bar set for it, given that Gaiman’s far-reaching fantasy saga is widely regarded as one of the greatest stories ever told in the medium of comics. Sturridge is joined in the cast by Gwendoline Christie (Game of Thrones) as Lucifer, Boyd Holbrook (Logan) as The Corinthian, and Vivienne Acheampong (The Witches) as Lucienne.

Gosling and Evans are joined by Ana de Armas (Knives Out), Jessica Henwick (Iron Fist), and Regé-Jean Page (Bridgerton), among other familiar faces in the cast of the film, which is one of the most expensive Netflix original films to date.
